So, what to do if it’s raining you ask? There are tons of egg-citing things for the kids to do indoors this Easter, if it’s just too wet to play out.
The Kids Hard Play Area is a fantastic way for children to experience climbing, bouldering and caving in a safe environment. There is even a rope bridge and a big dragon that breaths smoke, what fun!
Honister Slate Mine in Borrowdale have such a wide array of fun stuff to try on a rainy (or sunny) day, for kids and adults alike. On an indoor kind of day, families can ‘climb in the mine’, go on a ‘mine tour’or just enjoy shopping for slate products or relaxing in the café. On a good day, you cant miss the chance to test your head for heights on the ‘Via Ferrata’ and the ‘Infinity bridge’.
Theatre by the Lake never disappoints, with their excellent program of events. April is no different, with their fantastic productions of ‘Educating Rita’ and ‘The Addams Family’.
